Penny is 1 years old!

I know it's late but here's the update for Penny turning a year old. Here is her year in pictures!

My big 1 year old!!! 

She is learning soooo much every day! She signs quite a bit, she can point to her ears when asked where they are and nose and head and toes (if she feels like it, she usually always points to her ears though) She also will lift up Chris or my shirt to point to our belly buttons lol. She is super lovey and gives mom and dad hugs and kisses! Yup you heard me she's learned to give kisses! I love it :) She can show you her "one" and will hold up her pointer finger :) She's eating table food now and I can usually just put whatever on her tray and she'll eat all by herself. She needs some help or encouraging to eat some foods still. She can stand up all by herself without help from the couch or bars from the gate or anything. And has taken a few steps but isn't walking yet. She's such a good girl today while playing with a friends kids she got picked on by a 3 year old little boy he basically threw her down by a big handful of her hair among other things and she didn't cry once! She actually wanted to play with him even when he was in time out. She's such a sweetie. We love our little baby bug and couldn't ask for anything better then our Penelope Mae.

11 months

Penny is 11 months as of Sunday! She's such a fun girl. She stands pretty much all the time, she likes to climb on top of things mainly her activity center my best friend, Amanda's mom got for Penny. She LOVES music she'll "dance" by bouncing up and down or by waving her arm around. She even thought Chris trying to get the last of the apple sauce out of the container was dance worthy and started to bounce and wave her arm lol. She loves the gate we got so she wouldn't be getting into the electronics all day long and she loves it! She uses it to stand when I set it up in the morning she crawls over and stands up before it's even unfolded. She is very smiley and I usually comments from random people at the store that she is such a happy baby. That is because these people don't see her at home when she completely melts down if you leave her sight for two seconds. But yes for the most part she is a happy baby. She loves her stuff frog that I gave her. She was playing with Chris and saw it behind him so she crawled over him and grabbed and hugged the frog. Chris tells her hug me like you hug your frog :) She likes to give me hugs when I sit and play with her sometimes she'll give me a hug pull away and immediately give an other hug it makes mommy melt. She says mom/momma clearly, she also says something that sounds like hi and bye. She also waves hi and bye. I told her to say hi mom and she waved to me I tried again "Say hi mom" and she said "Hi momma" SO cute! I haven't gotten her to say it again yet but it was fun. She does her signs randomly. On Sunday she was signing milk then started to smack her lips while signing milk. She kinda does the same sign for everything sometimes it's in between all done and milk where she opens and closes her hand while waving it generally when she does this while eating it's right before she's about to start spitting out the food your giving her and not eat anymore. It's nice when I pick up on it, but it's easy to miss as just normal Penny wiggly-ness. She doesn't sit still ever she's is always moving some how. It makes church challenging especially when I try to put her down for a bit of a break and she immediately crawls away to get into someones purse or steal an other kids toy or crawl up the stairs to get to daddy. She's my crazy, loud, beautiful munchkin and we love her to pieces

 I let Penny feed herself breakfast she made the biggest mess and had a ton of fun

10 months!

Ahh where has the time gone? I see pictures of Penny from just a month or two ago and Penny has already changed so much since then. She has FOUR teeth! That in itself is crazy to me. She's a pro at crawling, she pulls herself up on everything.

She has even tried to use a 1/2 inch book as leverage to stand ... it didn't work so well lol. She tries to climb on everything as well.

She has traveled to California in the car and did AMAZING! She slept most of it and when she was awake she talked and jabbered. She has a lot more hair. It's curly if you let it but and wavy if you try and slick the curls down (daddy likes to try and slick her hair down with lotion after bathtime)

She meet a lot of new people in California at Chris's family reunion and then when we went to my parents house. She got to meet both of her great-grandmas on my side that was a lot of fun.

She is still a huge ham and will smile for our camera she doesn't understand other peoples cameras enough to smile that them. But she knows that when the light on our camera comes on that we're taking a picture and usually will give big smiles.

After getting cleaned up it's funny because she doesn't like being wiped up

 She is just super smiley in general and is usually a very happy girl. She's grumpy when she's tired, hungry, poopy or teething. She gets into everything!  When she wakes up in the morning she stands up in her pack n play and pulls my hair if she can reach it. She is very snugly and loves to touch people. She loves hair and the color black. She likes to try and chew on cords. Still very vocal.

She had a blast seeing Aunt Ashley, Uncle Lars and Cousin Tatum again!

Penny thought Lars was funnier then Tatum did that day. (I'm not going to lie I jumped the first time I watched it just beware Lars might make you jump too)

 She liked getting really up close and personal with Tatum.... Tatum on the other hand doesn't look too thrilled about it. She has a personal bubble Penny doesn't lol
